Woodland Trust partnership with Sainsbury’s Woodland Eggs brings many benefits
Spring is a time for enjoying the outdoors and fresh air and the long daylight hours provide an excellent opportunity to explore the countryside. No where will you see such an abundance of wildlife than in one of the UK’s native woodlands.
Woods are fun and adventurous places to discover boasting wild flowers, birds, insects, mammals and of course fantastic trees. The Woodland Trust, the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, owns over 1,100 woods most of which have free public access.
Thanks to a partnership between the Trust and Sainsbury’s Woodland Eggs, 1p from selected pack sales of Sainsburys Woodland SO organic and free range eggs goes to the Woodland Trust. To date, over £120,000 has been raised for the charity which will help them continue their work looking after UK native woodland which can be enjoyed for years to come.
